About Me

Jacky Blisson MW

My name is Jacky Blisson MW. I am a Master of Wine based in Montréal, Canada. I work as a bilingual (English/French) wine writer, educator, and consultant. After a 10-year sojourn in France studying and selling the wines of Burgundy and the Rhône Valley, I am back in my hometown of Montréal with a dapper French oenologist husband and two rowdy wee boys in tow. My modest winemaking experience includes harvest seasons in Burgundy and the Walker Bay, South Africa.

My passions in life are wine, food, travel and (according to my family) talking – hence the blog. I hope to share my adventures in wine tasting, travel and education with you through regular wine articles and reviews. I also host a YouTube wine education series. Check out my channel trailer below to find out more and subscribe.

While I write in English, I am fluent in French, and entirely comfortable working in either language.

Feel free to reach out to me with any questions or comments. I’d love to hear from you.
