WHY HIRE ME?
As one of just ten Masters of Wine in Canada (and the sole MW in Québec), I can offer unique expertise in all facets of the global wine trade. My professional experience spans twenty years and three continents. I am bilingual (English/French) and possess a diverse skill set, having worked in restaurant wine sales, as a winemaking assistant in Beaune and the Walker Bay, South Africa, and, for over ten years, as an export sales manager for wine firms in Burgundy and the Southern Rhône Valley, France.
Drawing on this wide range of competencies, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies, I have established a solid reputation for delivering high-quality wine education as a public speaker, wine writer and wine video presenter. My work also includes the sensory evaluation of wines as a wine judge and a consultant on fine wine selections.

“I asked Jacky to lead a seminar for trade and media. Although I knew she was passionate about the subject, I didn’t understand the deep research she would do prior to leading the class. It became apparent quickly when people started asking questions. She was a very astute, focused presenter and we look forward to working with her again soon.” – Laurel Keenan, Wines of South Africa
“Jacky is a very reliable and valued partner. Her extensive wine knowledge in addition to her stellar content writing and translating skills make her one of our most essential resources. We are very thankful to have someone that we can rely on and that understands the level of quality that we need.” – Marie-Laurence Cloutier, Vins Dandurand
“I have never had anything but good experiences working with Jacky Blisson. Jacky is a hardworking, efficient, highly diligent professional who takes the wine business seriously. She comes with a wealth of real-world wine “business” experience and when you add an MW designation to her resume It is hard to think of anyone more qualified to work in the business of wine.” Anthony Gismondi, Wine Critic and Co-founder of the National Wine Awards of Canada.
